Alice Bateman Almy Genealogy.
A Family Tree for Polydore and Adjua DeWolf
This glimpse into Bristol history through the lens of detailed genealogical research is a story about two slaves, both born in Africa, who were brought to Bristol as young children in 1803 by Captain James DeWolf, a slave trader. They later married each other in 1826.
The Society has files for the following Rhode Island families. Some files will include genealogical files. Please call in advance to view.
